Overview of Changes to Laws Governing Circulation of Medicinal Products

New federal laws were adopted on December 22, 2014 and March 8, 2015, respectively: Federal Law No. 429-FZ “On Amendments to Federal Law No. 61-FZ “On Circulation of Medicinal Products” and Federal Law No. 34-FZ “On Amendments to Article 61 of the Federal Law “On Circulation of Medicinal Products”. While most of the changes are taking effect as of July 1, 2015, some of the new provisions will be effective as of January 1, 2016 or January 1, 2017, as applicable.

Overview of Amendments to Part One of the Russian Civil Code

As part of implementation of the Civil Law Development Program, on March 8, 2015 President of the Russian Federation signed the Federal Law on Amendments to Part One of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, No. 42-FZ, which was adopted by the State Duma on February 25, 2015 and approved by the Federation Council on March 4, 2015. The amendments mostly relate to law of obligations and will take effect as of June 1, 2015. The Overview attached outlines the key amendments to the Civil Code that have been most anticipated by business community.
