The firm has been given a task to represent OPIC in the project for provision of $28 million funding to Starnetworks CJSC, a Russian rapidly developing internet provider in the Moscow and Moscow Region market.
The work includes advice to OPIC on a broad range of Russian law issues, due diligence of the borrower, participation in the drafting and negotiation of transactional documents (a number of interconnected transactions underlying the funding and securing its repayment), preparation of a legal opinion letter, legal attendance in the transaction closing.
